Deli food is not good . This is the first Kroger that I have purchased baked chicken that did not taste well. Cashiers are not friendly. I have just moved to the area and wonder how they managed to get 4 stars. The good point is the cleanliness is decent.
This used to be a good Kroger, but they've gotten so terrible about letting things run out of stock. I used to avoid going to Publix because their prices are generally higher, but at least they keep the shelves stocked and neat. They just don't seem to care at this location anymore.
I have shopped here for years and the last couple I have noticed most of the staff won’t look at you, greet you, and can be loud and unprofessional as they stock. I just walked by three. One didn’t look up, one pushed my cart out of the way when I was right there, and the other leadership looking one walked right by me with no acknowledgment, even though I smiled at her. The carts they push around for orders are often left in the way. The customers can be rude too, but generally try to stay out of each other‘s way. The cashiers are generally friendly, but can be unprofessional with the topics they discuss with other workers who are around. The store has been my go to and I’m sad to have to make a decision of staying or not.
While working here, I've experienced some difficult changes. Poor behavior from customers and management, prices keep changing, and bathrooms here are disgusting. Mangenment gave me some work at a different department I was never trained for. When some of us are the last ones working, they expect everyone to be done on time. But when I gotta finish everything on my own, they don't approve when I tell them I need more time. Which is why I regret working here and consider others not to.
I visited on a Wednesday at 6pm to pick up a box of fried chicken for dinner. Only 2 items were on the fresh food stand (ribs) but zero chicken. Asked when more chicken would be ready and was told they weren’t making any. All the hot food stand behind the glass was empty. Not a single tray was there. I asked for the manager and pointed out the time and his response was “sorry ma’am”. I guess that should have been good enough for me but it wasn’t. I will never shop at Kroger again.
Go to Publix. They have hot and ready food and customers matter.
This Kroger was clean and easy to navigate. There is a Starbucks and quiet seating area inside.
I bought a cart full of things and had to self check out. The assistant just stood there staring at me the entire time without helping. The store was pretty empty so I wonder what she was busy working on standing doing nothing. I wonder if they ever have cashiers early in the morning. Disgusting service. Do you expect customers to be the cashier for free now? Maybe you can at least help bag some stuff?
be careful when buying food at this place. They post a sale price and when you self check out the price is still the same and now you stuck on your kart the item that was supposed to be on sale but they still charge you full price. This happen 2x already for the seafood sale they have and 1x for the mango.
Edonis, the manager of this store is extremely rude. She does not know the Kroger policy. She was extremely unhelpful. I spoke to Kroger Corporate on the phone after my exchange with her, and they told me she was wrong and did not follow the policy, which was nice to hear, just in case I did happen to be the a-hole in this situation. Returns are allowed for 30 days. My product was unopened. Edonis, you’re a manager??? Bout time Kroger sets you up with more training and attitude adjustment, or go back to being a bagger, but we know that won’t happen.
Kroger is a great place for groceries. The store is open and organized, and Starbucks is located inside. The self checkout had 2 of the 6 machines down, which slowed down the checkout process.
